A Celebration of volunteering at the Bishop’s Palace and Gardens

To celebrate this year’s national volunteers’ week, nvb will be working in partnership with Somerset County Council to promote volunteering in our communities and to thank all the volunteers working in the council’s social care sector.

All Somerset County Council volunteers will receive a certificate, but for volunteers who have been volunteering for over 10 years we plan to hold a special event. The event will be held on the afternoon of June 5th at the Bishops Palace in Wells.

Volunteers will be invited to attend the presentation to receive their certificate, as well as a cream tea and the chance to look around the palace grounds and gardens, whilst listening to a jazz band that will be playing on the palace lawn.
