25th Anniversary of Volunteers Week - Reception and Exhibition

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Volunteers Week, the Centre will be holding a Reception at the Europa Gallery for people who have been involved for 25 years or more in volunteering. Guests, who live or volunteer, in Sutton will be presented with certificates in recognition of the major contribution they have made to the community. The Mayor of Sutton, local Members of Parliament, Paul Burstow and Tom Brake and a representative from Volunteering England will be celebrating with us and a commemorative plaque will be unveiled in the Library.

An exhibition to celebrate Volunteers Week, free and open to all will be situated in the Europa Gallery from Tuesday - Friday with staff on hand from 10-12am and 2-4pm to talk about volunteering opportunities available in Sutton.
